will finally experience growth in 2001: Whereas the magazine market
is predicted to have lost advertising revenues of about ¥3.8 billion
(-0.9%) this year, it is expected to grow by 1.2% and 0.9% in 2001
and 2002, when it is expected to reach a volume of ¥423 billion in
magazine expenditure. |

an increase in magazine spend of 7.4% in 2001. A further growth of

has fully recovered: It was the market which was the most affected
by the 1997-1998 Asian crisis (along with Korea and Indonesia). Thailand

billion in advertising expenditure. |

is enjoying one of its best years: The increase in magazine spend
this year should be 9.1%. However, growth spend should slow down to
6.9% next year before rising to 10.4% in 2002 when the market should
reach a level of Sin$85 million. |
